Currently I'm not running any campaigns (I spend my freetime writing generators instead :), although it was a close call in last weekend's con for volunteering to run a short oneshot...

It also seems that I am more actively preparing for than playing in campaigns:
  • Call of Cthulhu 7e (occasionally, which is a pity as I have grown to quite like the investigator team - a big mistake in Cthulhu, I know...)
  • D&D 5e Tomb of Annihilation
  • some upcoming Pathfinder 2 testing
  • preparing for session 0 for a steampunk-themed 5e campaign
  • preparing for a test session of Dungeon World on Fantasy Grounds

As GM - Mythras in Glorantha. In there specifically - Fonrit on the isle of Loral (the Monster Island).

As Player - not a thing - sadly :-(

Hm, MAYBE we can convince @ELF to gm us an online game? Time should match for Europeans...

As GM:
* Pugmire (Man has left us dogs to be uplifted now speaking and standing on two feet, we must follow the tennents of being a good boy while our masters are gone )
* Vampire The Masquerade revised edition (A modern telling of dark nights, fighting an inner devil while playing the villain)
* The Black Company (DnD ruleset based in "The Black Company" universe which is military campaign of high sorcery and low fantasy)

As Player:
* Stars Without Number (Space campaign, explore the universe of high tech, psitechs, and aliens, catch a ride or get your own ship and fight amongst the stars)
* D&D5 (High fantasy, high horror, fight unfathomable creatures that an evil lich has been releasing on to the world, will you be able to get aid or will all the cities around you burn?)
* Opportunity (work in progress, currently playtesting a new ruleset using a d100 and learning system were the more you do something the more skilled you become in it.)
* Shadowrun (Companies rule the world, you went dark in this high tech world to do the dirty work for those who pay well, hopefully the money is not too luring to get betrayed by your "friends")

As GM:
  • Rise of Aester, a Steampunk LARP that aims more for "hopeful" than "post-Apocalyptic", but definitely rides the line.

Preparing to GM:
  • Fate Core game in the Marvel Multiverse. Think Exiles meets Agents of SHIELD. Their first mission will be to a Deadlands-ish western setting.
  • D&D 5e for the housemates/kids. A "Points of Light" sort of setting (lots of city-states and little kingdoms, the remains of several fallen empires, and a whole lot of wilderness), where populations migrating from other worlds is not unheard of (some Elves are from Faerun, some are local, etc.). I didn't mean to make another game with a focus on the multiverse, it's just kind of shaping up that way.
As a Player:
  • Star Wars Saga Edition. The main campaign is in the Legacy Era, but periodically we flash back to a previous era to play a different party dealing with part of the larger story. So far we have:
    • Legacy Era, where I play a 4-armed mercenary captain with a penchant for using far more grenades than strictly necessary. The ship's name is Conflict of Interest.
    • Old Republic, where I played a bright young Jedi Archaeologist with a strong talent for seeing the future or distant past. Two lightsabers, but I was more likely to use them as light sources than weapons.
    • Clone Wars, where I played a Chadra-fan Jedi fanboy Antarian Ranger. "I've taken the test to become a Jedi six times. I'm sure I'll make it next time!' Strictly non-Force-sensitive, regardless of what he thinks, and tragically too good a Ranger and slicer to be put to any other use.
    • Rebellion Era (just began), where I play an ID9 Seeker Droid with the brain of a Droid Commander from the old Separatist droid army (and using the Droid Commander prestige class). Unflinchingly loyal to the rebel pilot that cobbled him together, despite knowing his loyalty is only due to his programming - that's all it's ever been.

EDIT: Wow, I get verbose sometimes.

As player, D&D 5E (Tomb of Annihilation) which should be wrapping up in a few weeks. Then I jump behind the screen to run...

...Astonishing Swordsmen and Sorcerers of Hyprborea 2E. Leaping right into Ghost Ship of The Desert Dunes.

As a gm:
- Only War (40k Imperial Guard RPG)
- About to start running Vampire the Masquerade 20th Anniversary edition, as above - which is what brought me to the logger to keep track of all the diversity of npc's one might find in a city of 2 million (plus a few score supernatural beasties)

Not playing anything at present sadly.

As a GM; Savage Lankhmar (but right now the PCs are in Ravenloft (it's complicated).
The 'A' Series from Adventures a Week (I call it the kids game because my 9 year old is participating in it).
Savage Lost City - a fantasy setting that I mashed together from a whole bunch of old modules.
Deadlands Reloaded on Fantasy Grounds 2.
Achtung! Cthulhu on Fantasy Grounds 2. This one lost a bunch of players due to work commitments and I may have to put it off for a month until the players can join in again.

As a player; 5e - some sort of Dragoncult thing. It's fun, but reminds me why I would never GM 5e, or any d20 based game again. Too many rules for my taste.

As a GM: D&D 5E "Out Of The Abyss" Campaign (Currently on hold) - I started this campaign as more of a sandbox, then bought the book and thought it would integrate well with my setting. The party managed to get out of the underdark and don't intend to finish their work there, but they might have a change of heart when they find demons roaming the surface world.

As a player: - D&D 3.5E (With the same group of players) - Still their favorite system after all those years. We're playing the Temple Of Elemental Evil and I'm a rogue actor and gentleman
- Star Wars Edge Of The Empire (with another group) - I'm playing a Trandoshan Bounty Hunter, lots of fun!

As a player: Pathfinder (not really my favorite game, but life is not a picnic :)).

I hope, we'll start a scifi-exploration-thing soon (hopefully using Stars Without Numbers),
