Depends on what you want. There is no difference in German between those two.

Falcons are way faster than hawks, and have a lighter, slick aerodynamic body which makes them hard to spot.
Hawks, on the other hand, are bigger, stronger and more majestic than falcons.

I think "Lindeck" derives from the Linner river that might take a couple of narrow turns ("Eck") around the area.
Interesting! I don't know if I would jump to the Linner for this, but if you separate Lindeck, I would also come to "Eck" as in "curve" or even "place". "Lind" on the other hand may come from "Linde" as in "linden tree". So it could come from an area where there is a couple of big linden trees. Let's look for those near Holt-Lindeck!

Yesterday our heroes left Holt-Lindeck to investigate a potential plague spreading from Auheim, the mining town near the Silver Peaks.

On the first day, sunshine and friendly peasants made for a welcome change from town life. Through the night, they felt being watched, though. In the morning, they discovered the hiding place of someone nearby. The heroes were quick to decide that a single orc had been watching them as part of a weird coming-of-age ritual.

Drizzling rain, heavy clouds, and low mood ruled most of the second day. Still, the group was quick to defend itself when desperate-looking ambushers attacked from the undergrowth. Holy Light, a killing fire lance, and commanding shouts were enough to send the eight surviving attackers back into the woods. A short examination of the one dead body revealed colorless and thin blood, comparable to Frundir Samtstein's.

Only a few hours later, close to sunset, they arrived at Old-Auheim's limits. The once idyllic northern part of this Halfling village had all access routes barricaded with carts and sharpened wood stakes.

The adventurers decided not to return to Holt-Lindeck and press on instead.

April 21 (Wed) 8:30 pm to 11:30 pm CET - Eremis, Nichuan, and (Morvar as ?) will visit Auheim - Two seats still available!

Next session:

May 5 (Wed) 8:30 pm to 11:30 pm CET - Eremis, Nichuan, and Benedikt will visit Auheim - Two seats still available!

Nice, precise and interesting summary!
On the one hand, you give the other players a glimpse (and only that) of what happened, but just enough to get the whole story.

On the other hand, you indirectly invite others to join for the second part. A new PC to the group could (a) have heard about where they were headed and why, (b) the peasants could tell them about something wonderful and motivate them to follow / or the new PC actually was a peasant before deciding to become like "them", (c) he/she could be an orc / or half-orc in the underbrush watching them (Did Bausum really stay in town or is he secretly travelling along?), (d) or is the new PC someone hunting that orc for some reason?, and finally (e), he/she could be already in Auheim.
Whatever the case, if you want to join us, please say so.

Likewise, I don't know if you noticed, but my last post in the Dancing Cauldron was between two NPCs, Gervin, the son and waiter of the innkeeper Merryweather Limbeck, and a yet unnamed swashbuckler/musketeer/bandit/daredevil. Maybe, your PC heard this conversation, maybe he/she wants to prevent him from getting the silver, or help him, or just be faster than him and the PCs alike... you won't acquire riches, renown or magical artifacts, if you stay in town. So, some more options for you to join.

What is the Lonely Tower about? Was there a call to action?

I am not sure we will be through when this one starts.

Not yet. @cr90 and @knoppi would like to explore and find appropriate times. I added the target and times and asked them to write a call to action here.

So, when Jan and Martin would like to play on May 19 and you say we will not be finished on May 5, would you expect us to continue on May 12 or do we come into conflict when also asking to play on May 19?
Principle of the West Marches game style is that the players decide on their own and book the GM, but how do you want to deal with such situations? Should we find a way to include each other‘s group? First bidder wins? Most bids win? Or do you expect to GM more often than every other week?

I think he means we might not be able to play our Auheim characters in the Tower run.

I hope you finish your mission on May 5. The week of May 12 is not possible for me. May 19 would be on conflict as I am not able to run more than one session per week.

First come first serve - but you are welcome to haggle it out among yourself. As Auheim is prepared, I now know that Lonely Tower will be the next mission to prepare.

First come first serve for a week. Most bids decide the day of the week. Every other week would be great, I could do every week if that is needed.
