    Greetings Claudia, there are lots of genre options out there, gurps is pretty decent for handling them, i prefer savage worlds myself, for non fantasy stuff, Call of Cthulhu is my go to horror, the hero system was also very flexible as an option

    My fog tends to be bad guys are other player character types, not basic monsters, players usually have monsters memorized. Hard to do with pc classes

    I use the dungeon tiles and the stuff that piazo puts out. I lay out whats going to used in the game, cover that with a clear acrylic sheet and a vinyl matt above till it comes to the reveal

    Forgot about the mongoose version, i did own it. Did my own sector, was influenced by Clarke and heinlein and later bablyon 5. I still tinker with it mostly as an exercise.
