Good news everybody,
Today I am happy to announce the official Beta release of a complete rewrite of the Generator Suite.
You now have a permanent home for all your Generator needs.
We tried to make it as good as possible and iron out as many bugs as we could with the help of a few very great...

In the link above I have about 4 working generators, which is less than half of what I have created, but I figure they might be things you may use better as the rest are geared toward Harry Potter...
How would one go about doing something like following.
You have town event generator.
You would like to generalise that for multiple towns but for each their own subtables.

What are the ways I could use generator thru the APIs.
There is the Wordpress plugin but I think it cannot be used with Wordpress.com as it does not support plugins? Are there other ways. Could we have a common Wordpress page supporting plugins where we all could contribute?
Here's a generator built for my Murder Hobos campaign.
Aarakocra are bird people and a key faction this season.
Status (pecking order) is important to them.
The lowest stratum has a mono-syllabic short name. These names are often also used as insults and curse words by the middle and upper...
I was doing a full disk search on my mac and noticed a file come up called propernames in my user dictionary folder.
It seems to be a long list of modern names, mixed gender.
Thought it might be useful for generator builders here.
From 2:30 PM GMT till about 3:30 PM GMT - today, 12/13/18 - there will be a scheduled downtime of the Generator Service to implement all the changes in production that we were testing in staging during the last week.

Hi all,
A reader sent me this request:
I'm not sure where to start with that request. I'm inclined to start with the output and work backwards.
What kind of generator results, outputs, and patterns do you think would help GMs roleplay NPCs better?
In the best Halloween tradition (as in breaking out in a cold sweat) I just merged my recent generator updates into the developer and master branches of the GitHub generator repository:

Let's imagine that I have something like this - will share full version of that soon as Mythras initiated generator
{
"name": "Siblings",
"entries": [

"m": 10,
"v": "None"

It would be nice to be able to add some interactivity to the generators, i.e. asking the user to input a string and then using that string as part of the output. In some cases even several input strings (like %1, %2, %3) would be useful.
This would require some kind of a widget in the user...
I've been out of touch with the generator thing after i made my first one back when it was new feature, it's become rather complex it seems now :)
Any "how to" out there? like formatting the output, using libraries etc etc ? havent been keeping up to date on it.
