Can't log in or in login loop.

Hi I am a lifetime subscription Logger and I am not able to log into https://app.campaign-logger.com/
It seems to log in but takes me to the front page. Looks like I am in a loop. Something happened like this months ago but I can't remember how it was fixed. Probably clearing cache or something?
Any suggestions?

Seems like there are several of us in this state. I think @JochenL has been summoned from his aerie in the Celestial Plane to defeat the demons inhabiting the machine. (My loose translation of what @JohnnFour said.)

Thanks @GM Rob.

Several GMs are affected, so I believe this is an issue on our side, not a machine or network issue on your ends.

Jochen will hop on this asap!

Thanks for reporting, and please accept my apology for this service interruption!

A quick investigation showed that the database server exceeded its 50 GB limitation, and all connections were set to read-only. I doubled the limit and activated auto-growth.

The service is now working again as desired.

The databases on the server steadily went from a total of 5 GB to 50 GB within the last 4 weeks. This is not normal, and I will investigate what is happening.

It's my fault that this happened unnoticed. I created an alert for future issues on the database to get warned early.

I will post here as soon as I have more information to share.

Thanks! It's working again. I didn't know how much I relied on Logger until I didn't have it during my game yesterday (as a player atm). I had to use my brain to remember stuff which didn't go well ;)

It was fixed.....but alas the loop is back, either that or I have found myself caught in a quantum singularity forced to repeat the same login over and over again......

Thank you!

And yes, sadly, it just started the loop for me again as well. No new logs save, and I get stuck in loops trying to login and logout.

Can you try again, please?

I just found and fixed the root cause and needed to restart the primary database server.

So, I found the root cause: Two aborted replications.

Replications are streaming changes from one database server to another. The database changes are queued for the replications to fetch them. As these two were aborted, they should have been removed. But they still existed in the background, no longer collecting changes while the queue got longer and longer.

I fixed the problem by deleting the replication slots manually and restarting the primary server. That took nearly 15 minutes. The server is running again, and we are back to about 6 GB (instead of 50).
