Faster combat book and course

I have been cramming for months.. Information, both online and in books. Eating everything I can find on being the best DM I can be. I have started using your campaign tracker and it makes life so much easier.. 3 line NPCs.. umm yes please great info and has made prepping NPCs way easier.. Who they are and what motivates them was taking me a long time previously. Thank you. Now its on to Combat and encounters.. Some take quite a long time and I don't want to loose my players after investing so much time for both of us to enjoy.. When can we expect to see the Faster combat book and course be available? What price are we talking about.. Not going to lie, i'm a bit excited at the prospect but, see it was to be released 2021 spring.. which lol ended some time ago. Even if its just the book for now to dive in and read, consume as it were and get the most out of each encounter. Currently i'm running Mad Mage.. without the compendium of Hallister being the game show host. I am doing a few things different but, trying to stick to whats been put in.. and make it great. put meat on those bones.

Really excited to get this instructional development.
I have a couple questions.

1. Is the 60 lesson faster combat course and 25 lesson faster 5e combat course printable. I'm not a spring chicken any longer and I still prefer to read my material from a page rather than from the screen. Yes, its lots of paper, binders, books etc however, I prefer holding my book, the visceral feeling of it etc.. Maybe even learning through osmosis lol.

2. Roughly how long does each lesson take? or how many hours is the entire course.. roughly?

Great questions!

The Faster Combat course comes with a bonus of the entire course in a printable PDF.

The D&D combat course I want to get feedback from GMs first before committing to PDF.


Each lesson is a 5 minute read. You might want to stop after each and try some implementation to cement things in ye old memory. (If they can cast hold person, they should be able to cast hold memory. Grumble.)

For example, you could prep a combat using content from a lesson. Then run the combat solo or with a group. And if satisfied, go on to the next lesson.

So (60+25) * 5 minutes = 625 minutes or about 10 hours? Rough guess.

Note that the Wizard of Combat course will be in video format.
