What to do with A 1e Party were The Cavalier/my characters, A Future King and The Magic Users The Daughter of A Earl and engaged to The Future King?

Me and my group are hoping to start A 1e DAD Campaign soon but we've only generated our characters and we've already got a massive problem, luckily its a good problem

So we all rolled on Social Scale Tables The GM made and I rolled A 100 then A 4 then A 62, this means that my character/A Cavalier, is not only Royalty, he's The Future King and he's got 5 Siblings

More rolls showed that parents of The Fighter, The Cleric and The Thief were Slaves in The Royal Palace, but in return for their children being allowed to be born free they would be raised to be the crown princes/my characters, friends, companions and playmates, naturally all 3 sets of parents agreed

The Pc that's A Magic User has A Very Minor Earl for A Mother, not only that her family owns a lot of other lands, business's, properties and investments and she's engaged to The Future King, which means that 1 day she'll be A Queen, admittingly she'll only(?) be A Queen by marriage but she'll still be A Queen

First, I'd love to see those tables your GM made! Very cool results.

I'd start with a villain.

Have the villain do some bad things recently.

Then decide how your characters would deal with those situations.

Also create an "onion" so that there are a few layers between your characters and the villain.

Classically, those layers involve:
  1. Helping locals who are being attacked or otherwise afflicted by far-downstream villain actions
  2. Discovering the villain's rank & file low tier minions as the cause of the local problems
  3. Learning those minions have a stage boss in the region
  4. Dealing with that stage boss, often in their lair or command location
  5. Encountering the next tier of minions who controlled that stage boss
  6. Repeat 4 & 6 until the villain layer
Hope this helps!

and he's got 5 Siblings
This just begs for backstabbing. Depending on whether you want to have an action campaign or a court intrigue campaign, your siblings could scheme for you to die in the wild or remove you from the court by poison, assassination, disgracing, etc.

I would be very excited to run games for such a group. But in contrast to Johnn, I would not first look for a villain.
In my understanding your character is the Future King, another PC is your future wife and a magician. Here I would have had them meet as children once (they have a vague memory of it), but not met afterwards.
How do they think about it? That makes a huge difference. There is a lot of roleplaying opportunity there.
How do the players think about a main focus in this campaign / adventure on their characters‘ romance story?
Personally, I would love to focus on this possible love (or hate) story as a GM.
Maybe the magician learned magic to get rid of this betrothal? Maybe the king to be has a love affair?
And the other PCs grew up with the future king and thus are friends, rivals and companions, ideally one of each. They trudt each other maybe, but one wants to become royalty himself (maybe trying to win over the magician?), one might really be a good friend. …
I like it.
The „villain“ could be social unrest, later the reason for the unrest: a neighboring count who wants to get the throne and the magician?
And in the end, there is a magician, who is the foe of the magician‘s master and „advises“ the count to get revenge against his foe.

My 2 copper pieces.

I said The Magic User, not Magician, is the daughter of A Earl not A King but since she will 1 day be a queen your idea could be changed so that it could be used on her 1st child

Their marriage was arranged the day after they were born, but over the last 22 years the 2 have come to truly love each other and thought it would be amusing if they became adventures and turned their adventuring career into A Action/Adventure Themed Honeymoon

Yes The Fighter, The Cleric and The Thief grew up as friends, companions and playmates but to The Future King but that's only because their parents were Slaves in The Royal Palace, but luckily for them they were born on the same day as their owners son/the future king and in return for their children being allowed to be born free they would be raised to be the crown princes/my characters, friends, companions and playmates, naturally all 3 sets of parents agreed

Suggestions for A RPG Idea I'm working on that combines my favorite Book Series with my favorite Fantasy RPG and my Favorite Cartoon?

I've been very bored and have 2 Idea's for A Unique RPG. So can I have suggestions for A RPG Idea I'm working on that combines my favorite Book Series with my favorite Fantasy RPG and my Favorite Cartoon?

They both combine Harry Potter with DND and Code Lyoko

Here's the 1st

The idea is that 8 years after The Cursed Child Xanna is accidentally resurrected by the last living member of project Carthage

I would have it so that Franz Hopper is A Squib and make the reason The Super-Computer is so powerful is because its made by combining both Muggle Technology and The Magic of Wizard

Naturally Xanna will know of Wizards, Voldemort and The History of The Wizarding World, after all the story wouldn't be as good if he didn't know from the start, but no other Code Lyoko Character, not even Aleita, will know of or about Magic or even suspect Magic exists, not even

At The 20th Anniversary Party of Xanna's Destruction, which is between 6 and a half and 7 and a half years after Delphini got locked up(The main part of The Cursed Child takes place in Albus Severus Potters 4th year or 3 years after Book 7's Epilogue, which means The Cursed Child happens between September 2,020 and June 2,021 and Xanna was destroyed in 2,008), to announce his return Xanna launch's 10 100 pound Nuclear Missiles at Kadic and wipes it off the map, including The 6 Lyoko Warriors and 9 of their 10 children

Jeremy and Aleita will have A Muggle-Born Son who escaped the destruction because he was at Hogwarts, as he goes to his parents funeral Xanna will posses him and announce his return to the world, naturally only The Wizards have any real chance of believing him and even then most don't

7 months later, or however much time happens between The Destruction of Kadic and The 2/5/2,029, with no attacks from Xanna the party to mark the 30th anniversary of The Battle of Hogwarts is happening and ministers of magic and other senior ministry officials from every Wizarding Country in The World is at Hogwarts, which Xanna wipes off the map with 50 1 ton Nuclear Missiles

To end it all Xanna also takes possession of Delphini Riddle and between Delphini, Xanna and Jeremy and Aleita's Son they activate all of Xanna's remaining Super-Computers and the 3, 1 of who is Xanna, of them launch a modified version of return to the past and the 3 go back to 1,996

Their plan is to stop Franz going into and shutting down the super computer, then kill Franz, The Entire Order of The Phoenix and Voldemort, load Aleita into The Super Computer, The Xanna of 1,996 will steal The Keys to Lyoko and The Xanna's will rule the world

At this point in time the only living person whose A Hero of The Battle of Hogwarts is Ginny Weasley, who was in bed with Flu, and realizing how desperate the situation is she gets drafted in as intern minister of magic for The Entire Wizarding World, meaning every Witch, Wizard and Magical Being in The World answers to her, or that's the theory

Realizing that with Xanna controlling Charles Potter and Delphini Riddle, knowing what the 3, 1 of them is Xanna, Ginny decides to assemble a team of the 7 best, such as they are, living people that are or were fully training Auror's

As its in 2,028(20 years from 2,008) I would make it so that all 7 of them took a lot longer then normal to complete their training and they are Lily Potter and Hugo Weasley who literally finished training the day before, Rose Weasley, Scorpius Malfroy and Albus Severus Potter who have been fully trained for 2 years, James Sirius Potter who has been fully trained for 4 years and Victoria Weasley has been fully trained for 5 years

Given how bad the situation is, I think you should definitely have it get worse and also I think that it would be a very good idea for it to get a lot worse, they even release Umbridge and the last 4 Living Death Eaters, just to make it amusing I'd make it so that the last 4 Living Death Eaters are Rookwood, Malcnir, Ruldolfous Lestrange and Avery from Azkaban

The terms and conditions being they help stop Xanna rewriting the past and they get full unconditional pardons, but they must wear devices that will kill any of them that tries to help herself or further her career(Umbridge) or even tries to help Voldemort(the last 4 Living Death Eaters)

Saying that though its not all bad and that's because at least any that don't break the terms and conditions won't die, by which I mean that if more then 1 of them try to break the terms and conditions at the same time then 1 of them will die

In the past they find Delphini Riddle waiting for them, she reveals that the combination of who her parents were, at this point in time are, all her own time travel shenanigans during The Cursed Child and jumping 32 years, 9 months, 3 weeks and 3 days into the past(going back from 1 month after The 20th anniversary of The Battle of Hogwarts or from The 8/6/2,028 to The 14/8/1,996), have allowed her to throw off Xanna's control

What is more even though she is fully aware that what she plans to do will result in her having never being born she no longer cares, her 8 years in Azkaban have completely changed her and in a lot of very good ways

Basically she doesn't mind herself having never being born when it will prevent thousands of Deaths during Voldemorts 2nd rise to power, the millions of Deaths Xanna has already caused and the 100's of millions of Deaths that it is likely that Xanna will still cause if he isn't stopped

Here's part 2

The 2nd

In it in which effectively 4 but actually 3 generations of Harry Potter characters, them being the originals as they are in 2,035 and were in 1,996, their children and students born a lot of years after the last of The Children of The Harry Potter Characters graduated but before more then 2 or 3 of of the grand children of The Harry Potter Characters had reached or passed their 4th birthdays must team up

Naturally the guys their teaming up with effectively 3 but actually 2 generations of Lyoko Warriors, The Lyoko Warriors as they are in 2,035 and were in 2,008 and their kids

Basically all 6, including William, Lyoko Warriors are descended from Squibs, which is how their children end up going to Hogwarts alongside characters that are at Hogwarts a lot of years after the last of The Children of The Harry Potter Characters graduated but before more then 2 or 3 of the grand children of The Harry Potter Characters had reached or passed their 4th birthdays

The Ministry finds out about Delphini within 2 to 3 weeks, I'd advise 1 month tops, of The Battle of Hogwarts, they know she's not safe in 1,998, after all even though The Ministry hopes that people wouldn't kill Voldemorts 2 to 3 week, again I'd advise 1 month tops, old Daughter simply because she's Voldemorts daughter but their are so many people that are baying for, demanding and petitioning for the blood of The surviving Death Eaters, that they refuse to chance it

1 Idea I've had that's gruesome, twisted, inhumane and sick is that its also very plausible is that their will be some Vampires that are literally baying for, demanding and petitioning for the blood of The surviving Death Eaters

But roughly 22 years from now, so some time in 2,020, they believe she will be safe so they make and use A 1-use Spell to send her 22 years into the future to 2,020, were they hope she will safe, loved and cared for, and not only is she safe, loved and cared for she actually ends up being safer, more loved and better cared for then people could have hoped,

By chance in 2,020 The now 25 year old (this works out that they were 14 when they, supposedly, destroyed Xanna in 2,009 and as this part of the story happens in 2,020 this is 11 years after Xanna's, supposed, destruction) Jeremy and Aleita have A Son whose only A week or 2, 3 weeks tops, older then Delphini, Aleita can't have any more kids, they want they end up adopting The, at the time, 7 week old Delphini

In 2,031 Delphini starts Hogwarts alongside her fellow children of The Lyoko Warriors and a lot of her, and their, classmates are children that started a lot of years after the last of The Children of The Harry Potter Characters graduated but before more then 2 or 3 of of the grand children of The Harry Potter Characters had reached or passed their 4th birthdays

By 2,035/Delphini's 5th year, The Ministry has decided that its safe to risk that revealing the truth about the family and heritage of Delphini Belpois, adopted daughter of Jeremy Belpois. Here's info on how Jeremy and Aleita could fit

Jeremy Belpois who is A Muggle that's descended from A Squib that's married to someone that's descended from A Squib and is famous for his advancements in both Wizarding Potions and Herbology and for his advancements in experimental Muggle Technology, is actually Delphini Riddle

She's the long rumored and long believed dead, if she even existed, daughter of Voldemort, who for her own good was send 22 years into the future, and to everyone's Surprise every Witch or Wizard that's 11 or older in the entire Wizarding world, and even around 63% of the Muggles that know of The Wizarding World, is willing to give her a chance, true most are very reluctant to give her a chance but at least they agree to give her a chance

But then during The Spring Break of Delphini's 5th year, which I think, but I could be wrong, happens towards the high end of mid April 2,036, which I think, but I could be wrong, means somewhere between The 18th and The 21st of April, Xanna returns, and he's hell bend on changing the past

So the basic plot is that The Lyoko Warriors, their children, The Harry Potter Cast, their children, various children that started Hogwarts a lot of years after the last of The Children of The Harry Potter Characters graduated but before more then 2 or 3 of of the grand children of The Harry Potter Characters had reached or passed their 4th birthdays and even a handful of Voldemorts remaining Followers join up, who make it clear that their doing this for Delphini and if she decides to stop getting involved or even decides to side with Xanna then they will do the same

Their work involves working together to stop A Resurrected Xanna from combing the capacities of The Super Computer, The Wizarding Prowess of 2,035 and The Muggle Technology of 2,035 to change the past by wiping out Voldemort and his followers and Dumbledore and his followers and others that oppose Voldemort

In 1,996 their will be times when damage control, meaning damage to the timeline, means they must help Voldemort against The Order of The Phoenix but must help him in ways that won't do too much damage to history, maybe their could even be a few times when The Harry of 2,035 will even be forced to work with The Voldemort of 1,996

Similiar to how in Digimon Season 2 The Digidestined returned to Earth after every mission, by which the end of every mission I mean that theirs times when a episode starts with them still in The Digital World and still on the mission they were on in the last episode, after every mission, which in this case means not after every chapter, the groups that are working together to stop Xanna return to 2,035 and theirs 4 reasons for this, which I've listed below

Reason 1 is to minimize the changes to history, our Heroes are smart enough to know that with what they and Xanna are doing in 1,996 that they will not be able to prevent all changes to history but they can try to minimize the changes to history

Reason 2 is that their will be times when the heroes take that injuries that Wizards don't know how to cure or heal in 1,996 but they do know how to cure or heal in 2,035, 1 idea I've had for something like that is that by 2,035 theirs A Potion that can cure A Werewolf but it only works if its drank before The Werewolves 3rd transformation

Reason 3 is to give them things like annual time, time off and time to recover from trauma, the main reason for this is that even though only a few minutes will have passed in 2,035 the heroes will have spend weeks, maybe even months, in 1,996

Reason 4 is almost identical to Reason 3 but this 1's to give the heroes time with their family or families, because just like with Reason 3 even though only a few minutes will have passed in 2,035 the heroes will have spend weeks, maybe even months, in 1,996

Sorry, but you lost me right at the start, at your razor. I don‘t know what this comic is about and what you imagine the setting of D&D to be. Thus, I have no visual of the kind of game you intend to run.
Help Players understand your world and care for it

It seems very very complicated.
I don‘t know what you imagine for a plotline (it should be able to summarize it in 1-3 sentences), and neither do I understand what you expect from us.
Do you plan to run this with your current group that wants to llay Traveller?

Would the 14 year old that was made A Baroness before she was even born be annoyed that her title was actually a bribe to buy her mothers silence?

I had A 1st edition Dungeons and Dragons Dream last night and I have a question about it

Basically theirs A 14 year old Baroness whose mother was A Commoner and whose father is unknown and the official reason that she was made A Baroness before she was even born is because her mother somehow managed to save the life of The, at the time, Crown Prince, how was never revealed, The Dream said it was hushed up thanks to The DND Version of The Official Secrets

The way she did it was so dangerous and was of such great benefit to the country that the mother was offered the title of Senior Baroness who was granted rulership of A Very Large Barony but she said she wanted it to go to her as of yet unborn child, The now 14 year old Baroness, being made A Senior Baroness who was granted rulership of A Very Large Barony before she was even born

Then 11 days after her 14th birthday The 14 year old Baroness's mother is on her death bed and tells The 14 year old Baroness/her daughter, the truth, she never carried out some task for The, at the time, Crown Prince that was very dangerous and greatly benefited the country, rather she had a brief affair with The, at the time, Crown Prince, you were the result and you being made A Senior Baroness and being granted rulership of A Very Large Barony before you were even born was a bribe to ensure my silence over the fact that at the time you were the kings illegitimate granddaughter and it also ensures my silence that you are now the new kings illegitimate daughter

Then The 14 year old Baroness's mother dies with a smile on her face, and the reason she's smiling is because she's glad that her daughter, after 14 years, 1 week and 4 days, knows the truth, that at the time she was the kings illegitimate granddaughter and she's now the the kings illegitimate daughter and that now that her mothers dead the king, her former lover, couldn't punish her even if he wanted to

My question is would the 14 year old that was made A Senior Baroness ruling A Very Large Barony before she was even born be angry? and if so how angry? that her title was actually a bribe to buy her mothers silence about the fact that at the time she was the kings illegitimate granddaughter and she is now the new kings illegitimate daughter?

I'm not sure that she would, after all by making his illegitimate Daughter A Senior Baroness ruling A Very Large Barony before she was even born her father ensured that she would have a very good life and that his former lover would also lead a good life and he didn't have to do either, to put it another way in all likelihood the mother of his illegitimate Daughter would never come forward and even if she did no one would believe her without undeniable proof and he'd made sure that their wasn't any and if she'd tried she'd have been executed for treason and her daughter, if born, would have been made a life long indentured servant to A Noble

Here's The Barony as it is 44 days after her 14th birthday

The Barony consists of the following

It has 1 tiny castle, 5 massive fishing communities, 5 very large semi nomadic communities of cattle herders, 5 large, 3 large and 1 very large villages, 34 large farming communities and 54 massive Farms in it

It has a population of 3.557 Adults and 1,904 Children or a total of 5,461

It nets The Senior Baron or Baroness 97,720 Gold Coins per year, but that’s before costs

Take away costs of 19,540 Gold Coins per year for The King and The Church, 36,800 Gold Coins per year for the garrison, 43,600 Gold Coins per year for the castle staff and advisors, the minimum amount of The Baronies income to the poor and/or people in need or 4% or another 1,884 Gold Coins per year to the domains poor and/or people in need another 1,332 Gold Coins for 6 times the number of levels worth of Spells The High Magistars Spellbooks or costs of 102,162 Gold Coins per year

But then you knock off 10% of 78,292 Gold Coins or 7,830 Gold Coins per year that in return for loads of extra privileges The Garrison, the castles Soldiers, Hunters, Baliff’s, 4 lesser and 3 Greater advisors, The Magical Advisor and The Guard Captain willingly take gives costs of 94.332 Gold Coins per year, which leaves her with 3,988 Gold Coins per year

Her lands also provide her with all the food, drink and minor luxuries she could ever want or need

And

Quite a lot of the money comes from the following sources of money and/or other stuff

Other income

3,005 Gold Coins per year from The Kings Justice

3,005 Gold Coins per year from fines

3,306 Gold Coins per year from highway tolls

2,004 Gold Coins per year from miscellaneous earnings

Facilities

The Barony has 52 Bakers, 36 Brewers, 25 Grain Mills, 19 Butchers, 15 Blacksmiths, 13 Cheese Makers, 12 Fullers, 12 Carpenters, 9 Tanners, 7 Taverns and 5 Gambling Dens that makes The Baron 21,950 Gold Coins per year

Personal lands

1 150 Acre Orchard that nets The Baron 3,750 Gold Coins per year

1 150 Acre Vineyard that nets The Baron 3,750 Gold Coins, 88x80 or 80x8 6,720 gallons of good wine and 62x35 or 2,170 gallons of fine wine per year

Money stuff from Animals The Senior Baron or Baroness owns

He or she has 194 Chickens, 118 Sheep, 62 Cows, 42 Goats and 38 Swine that nets The Baron or Baroness a extra 2,840 Gold Coins per year

Horse stuff

He or she has 5 Female and 2 Male Light Riding Horse’s, 3 Female and 1 Male Medium Riding Horse’s and 1 Super Light Male Stallion

Between them The 5 Female and 2 Male Light Riding Horse’s produce 5 Foals per year that 2 years after birth, so every 3rd year, can be sold for 500 Gold Coins each

And

Between them The 3 Female and 1 Male Medium Riding Horse’s produce 35 Foals per year that 2 years after birth, so every 3rd year, can be sold for 800 Gold Coins each

Defenders

When it comes to things police work, detective work, general patrols and peace keeping the work is done by A 315 strong combat trained civilian militia of 163 1st level, 77 2nd level, 40 3rd level, 20 4th level, 10 5th level, 4 6th and 1 8th level Men At Arms

The Church provides him with 253 Clerics that consist of 135 1st level, 57 2nd level, 30 3rd level, 16 4th level, 9 5th level, 4 6th level, 1 7th level and 1 8th level combat trained Clerics

The Barony has A garrison that gets free very high quality food and none alcoholic drinks, free high quality accommodation, free good quality alcoholic drinks and barring some sort of unforeseeable accident or emergency or disaster they get at least 8 paid days off a month

Healing wise The Senior Baron or Baroness ensures that they have access to Clerical Spells of up to 3rd level that cost them nothing and they have access to 4th level Clerical Spells that come with a discount of at least 50% and the discount can potentially go as low as 75% off

Normally either they wouldn't have any of those or they'd have to pay for them or they'd have some but not as much as what The Senior Baron or Baroness gives, they willingly get paid 10% less per year then normal and that's because even with that 10% pay cut they still end up with roughly 4.44% worth of stuff more per year then normal

And

The Barony’s 296 Strong Garrison is made up of 105 Light Infantry with Melee Weapons, 105 Light Infantry with Ranged Weapons, 50 Light Cavalry, 22 Medium Cavalry and 14 Very Heavy Infantry

Extra help employed for the day-to-day of the castle

Regular

30 Unskilled Servants, 20 Soldiers, 9 Hunters, 4 Doctors, 2 Bailiffs, 2 Estate type Reeves, 1 Heyward and 1 Chamberlain

Greater

12 advisors that consists of 3 Stewards, 3 Arcane Advisors, 1 Military Advisor, 1 Advisor on Self Defence, 1 greater Reeve, 1 on diplomacy, 1 on religion and 1 Divine Advisor that are each get 500 Gold a year

Her Magical Advisor -she's A 11th level Magic User and The Commander of The Domains Forces -in some editions of DAD he would be classed as 1 or both of A Castellan and The Guard Captain and he's A 11th level Fighter

And

The 11th level Magic User that's The Baroness's Magical Advisor has 11 Spellbooks and 5 Spellscrolls that between them hold all 1st level, all 2nd level, 14 3rd level, 10 4th level, 7 5th level, 3 6th level and 1 7th Spells

Sorry, what was the question?
Did I forget to add that?. Sorry. The question is that if what happened in The DAD Dream in a actual DAD campaign would the 14 year old that was made A Baroness be angry, and if so how angry, that the reason she was made A Baroness before she was even born not because her mother saved The Crown Prince rather it was a bribe to keep her mother from revealing that her child was the kings illegitimate granddaughter, which means that her child is the current kings illegitimate daughter?

IMO, why would she be angry? Her position in life dramatically increased from commoner to noble!

That said, it depends a whole lot on her personality.
Maybe she is after the throne and will start scheming once she learns of her true origin`?

It all depends on what your story should be about. Completely regardless of her position and on the bribe (and the fact that she knows of it or not), she is after all only 14 years old. There are thousands of reasons to be angry with her parents. Who says that the bribe is more important to her than the dress that was ripped by some accident for which she gives her parents trouble?! It very much depends on her daily mood swings at that time in my impression, and on who influences her how and who she confides in at the moment.

Were they right to spare The Defeated Kings 5 year old granddaughter and heir just because their kings 5 year old son and heir took a fancy to her?

Last night I had a DND Dream and I was wondering, were the victors right to spare The Defeated Kings 5 year old granddaughter and heir just because their kings 5 year old son and heir took a fancy to her?

So basically a country started a war that they lost, by tradition regardless of age in this world all the Royals in a defeated country are killed but by sheer coincidence all bar 1 of the defeated countries royals died fighting and the last 1 left is the Defeated Kings 5 year old granddaughter, who by rights is the heir but she was taken alive and naturally she doesn't have long to live

Naturally depression, sadness and hopelessness will always takes its toll on 1's health, especially a 5 year olds health, its not long before the 5 year olds fading away and if she dies her countries royal line dies with her

Just as it appears that she's beyond saving the 5 year old son and heir of the victorious king decides to take pity on her, after all she may be destined to die but at least she can live what's left of her life in comfort

So he has her brought up to his Royal Chambers, naturally she is bound with ropes that are loose enough to not hurt her but tight enough to ensure she can't escape, gets his servants to put her in something decent, and between him, his nanny and his 3 most trusted servants he nurse's the 5 year old back to full health

Even though his initial intent was only to nurse the 5 year old back to full health and ensure that she lives what's left of her life in comfort he finds himself rapidly developing feelings for her, and by the time she's fit enough and healthy enough to be executed he finds that he can't bring himself to hand her over
i
So 5 year old son and heir of the victorious king goes to his father and asks him to spare the Defeated Kings 5 year old granddaughter, after all if they kill her she'll be a martyr but if they spare her she will be a puppet queen, which will reduce the chances of the defeated country revolting against the country that conquered them to almost zero

After rescuing Princess Siandbhair why did her father let her marry A Thief that was born A Slave and not A Cavalier that will 1 day be A King?

Before I give the question here's a bit of background info

Roughly 26 years back I got hold of Imagine Magazine Issue 5 and noticed something very odd about Scenario it contained, which was The Taking of Siandbhair from 1st edition DND and many years later that very odd thing I spotted is having a bad effect on A Mates Campaign, idea?

It says that if they bring princess Siandbhair back both alive and unharmed then The Pc with the highest Ch will marry her and will 1 day take her fathers place as king

In case your wondering how that is now effecting A Mates Campaign idea its because The Pc with the highest Ch was A Thief that was born A Slave and the Pc with The Lowest Ch is A Cavalier that will 1 day be A King, don't you just love random character generation? and yes that was sarcasm

Even worse is that the rules for Social Class and Social Scale, which is how 1 Player got A Thief that was born A Slave and another player got A Cavalier that will 1 day be A King came out in issue 11, only 5 issues or 5 months later, of the same magazine which was the original Imagine Magazine that came out between 1,983 and 1,985

I do accept that The Scenario The Taking of Siandbhair does specifically state that if they bring princess Siandbhair back both alive and unharmed then The Pc with the highest Ch will marry her and will 1 day take her fathers place as king but in this case that's madness of the highest, or depending on your point of view lowest, order

I mean seriously? what kind of GM can even attempt to use the fact that because its what the scenario says the reward should be in anyway justifies allowing A Crown Princess and/or her father refusing to marry/refusing to let his child marry, A Cavalier that will 1 day be A King and instead marry/allowing his child to marry, A Thief that was born a slave

Honestly, you don‘t need to stick to random generation on the one hand and module rewards on the other hand.
Of course random is not always convincing. You are allowed to tweak afterwards. Random stats are fun. As long as you think they are fun or fitting. Likewise with rewards.
Some groups want to aim at realistic and tweak results or adjust as they see fit.
Other groups like the randomness and accept the dissonance (either as fun outgame or as challenge ingame).

(By the way, you don‘t need to open up new threads every time. Just continue in the same thread and make the heading bold. Easier to follow and keeps your setting at one place.)
