Obligatory hello message...
I'm David from the UK, getting older but not growing up. My older brother got me into D&D with his old 78(?) blue cover edition and I soon picked up the classic Red Box and never looked back. I've played most versions, skipped 4th to go to Pathfinder, and bounced back to 5th a couple of years ago. I've been trying to branch into other games now, preferring story and narrative over crunch. I've run a couple of short Fate campaigns which I really like as a system, a tiny bit of Paranoia, and my PDF collection has maybe too many games now I would like to run. Enjoyed some one sheet one shots recently which are a lot of fun. My Star Trek Adventures Borg Cube has sadly yet to venture forth for a game.
Currently running two 5E groups through my own home brew world, one group is learners getting the hang of things and my usual Wednesday group recently celebrated 2 years for the campaign (partly created with a couple of games of Microscope to flesh things out and include them), a great landmark.
I'm also a long time follower of Roleplaying Tips and Johnn, I have an email from the old newsletter dated 2003 so it's from before then...
Looking forward to increasing my GM wisdom score some more.
I don't have a favourite dice, they all have a tendancy to roll badly when I DM, much to the relief of the players. I obviously need to buy some more.
