Crystal Eye Compass
This crystalline sphere is about the size of a giant’s eyeball. It is filled with a liquid wherein an actual eye is floating sluggishly. Sometimes it seems to be focusing on something in its sight, adjusting the size of its pupil. At all times it is orienting its gaze northward, though.

The inherent magic of this item can be released violently by smashing it to the ground. All unprepared creatures are blinded (or at least dazzled) when the crystal eye is destroyed.

Draconic Stylus
This item looks like the severed finger of a large draconic humanoid. Its nib is finely sharpened and can be used to draw blood from your own finger – one drop being enough to fill a page of paper with writing in a dark red ink. It will only write for the blood donor.

Breaking the stylus ruins it and at the same time magically removes all script ever written in blood using this stylus.

Whet Stone of Broghan
A rectangular dark grey stone about 8" long, 2" high, and 2" wide. It weighs about 2 lbs.

The stone will never wear out. And it sharpens edges in half the time.

If you whet the stone with the blood of a creature and sharpen a blade with it, your next attack against a creature of the same type will be a critical. However, it must be the first attack made by the weapon after sharpening.

Unfortunately, if used for such a purpose, the stone will begin to weep blood until the sharpened weapon is used against the target it's primed for.
