In CL vNext, you can create lists with dynamic numbering by putting "1." at the start of each line.

1. List item B
1. List item C

But what if you have multiple lists and want to keep the numbering going? It's a bit manual, but you can start any numbered list at any number by putting your desired start number in front of each list item, like so:

Note that, at the time of writing this, you need an extra line break after any text for continued numbering to work:
