vNext Migration Effect On Preview Version ?

Heya,
So in double checking my legacy and vNext data before the retirement of legacy I have discovered that all my current logs etc have been done in preview.app.
I'm sure I had a logical reason at the time, and I've been enjoying seeing new features early, but is it recommended to use Preview as my data of record indefinitely? Are the Preview version files backed up / migrated as well? Or are they even affected?

Preview.App is backed up regularly. As it is for evaluation of new features it may break any time. It did so once but we could get it working again within a few hours without data loss. Some of us are using it for their productive logs. You can do so, too. But there are no guarantees. I suggest you backup regularly yourself so that you can continue your work on App should Preview break.

Preview logs will never be automatically ported to App. And legacy imports are now targeting App instead of Preview.
