Way to update multiple records at once?

If at some point I make a mistake or want to change or update something in several records is there a way to do this where I only have to change it once but update everywhere?

Thanks!

This is a bit of a hack and may not even be exactly what you are looking for, but you could export the log as JSON, do your thing, and import the log back. This is not particularly neat or user-friendly, but should work as long you use a real text editor (and not for example Word) and don't touch the ID fields containing gibberish. And make a back up copy first.

A more elegant way would be creating the malleable detail as a separate log entry and using tagging to link it to wherever it is needed. Whether this is practical depends on your use case.

Actually, I am doing something similar when I do the bulk uploads but was hoping there was something in the logger to do this, as the data in this case may not be contiguous therefore potentially making it a pain.

Is there a way to pull out portions of the log rather than the entire log and update it? Even that would be helpful.

Using notepadd++ as well for the bulk uploads. Hoping to pick up UltraEdit again though as I prefer it.

thanks
