I just started using CL again after a long time not GM'ing. I like vNext, it is a good tool. I've been using it for a couple of weeks now and I had some suggestions for features. I haven't done a lot of searching to see if these have been mentioned elsewhere, so forgive me if I repeat somebody else's.
- A way to edit image information imported into CL Image Gallery. Every time I try to insert an image from the Gallery into a page or log I have to update the alt text and caption so it would be nice not to have to do that over and over. I don't want to edit the actual image.

- Size
- Maybe link information?
- A way to see the Image Gallery in a separate window so that I can drag and drop the images directly into a log without having to wait for the gallery to load.
- The image gallery delete action is too easy to press accidently. Pressing it will mess up every page using that image. Maybe show a confirmation dialog to not accidently delete it?
- I tried using the initiative tracker, but I was not able to get the data it needed entered quickly enough. I'm interested in the timing for the players so I would like to use it. Things I think it needs:
- Way to enter single & multiple items with a click from a log. By multiple I items I mean both different creatures and multiples of the same creature
- A button to enter all of the players automatically on the tool itself. Something like a global entry. Would be nice to have multiples of these global entries.
- Way to enter the initiative die roll and then roll it when the creature enters the tool.
- I would like the initiative tool data to be saved with the rest of the logs. This includes the times if the initiative has stopped. It seems to be saved locally on my desktop1, but when I switch to my laptop it is gone.
- Would it be possible to show the initiative tool on pages too?
- I can't see the horizontal line that is supposed to be displayed for the --- text. The logger is doing something with it, but I don't see a line
- A way to enter die rolls into logs. Clicking on the die roll would roll it.
- A way to add a tag and its quotes with a keystroke instead of clicking it. I need this for the sections tag desperately as it is not on my keyboard
- When auto-filling a tag name don't add the ending quotation mark if there is already a quotation mark added. I seem to have these extra quotation marks everywhere when using the tag buttons. Since I always seem to use the button for the sections tab it would help with that a lot.
- A way to move the private part of a page to the public part of the page. I do this a lot with mobs.
- When you show the page inside of a log could you show the labels too? I'd like to be able to edit them there too, but a button/link to go to the actual page would suffice.
- When the Referencing Pages are listed for a page sometimes it does not show the correct values for the 3 circles correctly. Not sure exactly what causes that though.,
- Auto complete for labels would be nice, as evidently I am unable to type 2 references to labels the same way
- Would it be possible to find a way to add CSS to some text? I understand that supporting all of it is a bad idea, but things like fonts/sizes/colors and other text related values. Use the color support you have now to enter a CSS selector instead. That way I can use the same properties without having to type them over and over. Not sure where the CSS itself would go.
- Would it be possible to include the text for a page in and amongst the other log entries? Frequently I have found that the only way to get all of the rules into a single entry was to use a page. But, you only get to see the page associated with the selected tag in the log. I want to be able to reference other pages and order them as I would any other log entry.
- Can the actual link text not take up my 2500 character count? I hate deleting reference material links because it won't fit in a log entry. And, if that is easy to do, could you not count the characters used in formatting and html character codes?
- In dark mode external links are just bold and not showing any other type of link indicator. In light mode those links would be blue.
