    I'm surprised I've not seen anyone mention using it for Cthulhu games - it strikes me as perfect for mystery games.

    Back on topic, I'm running Only War (40k Imperial Guard RPG) and wish I'd started using the logger beforehand as now it's way too unwieldy to upload and I've already forgotten a handful of npc's names, interactions and appearances - who might reappear later :/

    Absolutely! The one advantage of doing it modern is that there's loads of census data and baby name lists for different ethnicities etc. With different eras and places it will get more complicated, maybe have a look at existing fake name generators online? Here's the categories VTM recommends...
