I started my TTRPG adventure during COVID. A group of friends decided to give it a go - we played 5e every week for a year-long campaign. Our DM then asked if we would be interested in trying other systems...and that was my downfall. Once I learned there were dozens of gameplay options I was hooked. We played Shadow of the Demon Lord (then converted it to Savage worlds halfway thru), then Blades. I tried my hand at DMing with FISTFUL OF DARKNESS, a western style BitD system. I had good sessions, I bombed on others, but I was hooked.
I am now currently running a PIRATE BORG campaign with a group of work friends and starting up a FORBIDDEN LANDS campaign with my original group (as a player). I have several games I still want to run like BLADERUNNER, AVATAR LEGENDS, and THE WICKED ONES so this year might be a busy one for me.
I'm hoping this site and the community behind it will be a great resource for inspiration and advancements in my GM skills
