I am curious: Do you use CL and if yes, how do you use it?

I'm mostly using it for world building and after session notes. The second part is also used when I'm a normal player and not the GM.

I use second hand paper (as in the back of flyers, old Calendar used months etc) for note taking during play, I find it takes less concentration and l can do it more freely during play

For planning and session prep I use Obsidian, since I can also use that at work, and you never know when inspiration will hit.

Also of note is that I use CL normally writing in Spanish and it works great.

I also use to contain rules for players unfamiliar with the 3PP stuff I use in my campaign, starting with Advanced 5E (also known as Level Up) from EN Publishing. This way, spells, combat maneuvers, and feats are at their (and my) fingertips if they want to look them up. My versions of NPC and PC sheets access these pages.

I've been diligently using CL for my latest campaign. It is an email campaign, so easier for me to pull text into the CL and tag it. It is really filling out nicely, and I feel very organized! I'm open to incorporating some of the other features but haven't explored those yet.

Organizing the campaign into usable information for players. Plotting campaign choices the players make. Reviewing past experiences in the campaign setting. Setting up a more realistic campaign in the moment.

World building, session prep, after session notes (i also save my paper notes as pictures in the logs)

It's great to look up stuff at the table on my phone too.

Lastly I've linked all my players so they know whats happened/whats going on, session to session. I run a West Marches style game and it helps
players stay connected to all the happenings.

One thing I have noticed about CL that I would hope gets fixed is accessing as a player doesn't transfer the new category settings I have give the pages... names and colours.

I've been trying to use OneNote to hold all my campaign planning, but it doesn't go between my desktop and tablets easily. Campaign Loggers lets me pull in just the session information I need and easily access it online.

Re other:
I use it for "Loopy" planning. I've changed my vote because yesterday I went through the entire campaign log and noted anything which could become a later detail. The * Loopy Planning tab has become a major, if unconsidered, part of planning sessions.

I've been using it to write our homebrew system alongside world building / sessions. It lets me link items I build to tooltips to any niche rules. So it also acts as the players rulebook, quest log and item compendium.

I've started to use CL for various home projects: Christmas/Birthday lists, misc organization projects, longer term family activity planning. I'm still kinda spotty on how I use it for home and Gaming, but I'm settling between three apps. Each does something different.

1- Todoist: my dumping ground/in basket for all tasks and projects. This has all the bits and pieces and is sortable a billion ways
2- Campaign Logger: After I have a planning or brainstorm session, put the larger pieces here.
3- Obsidian Portal: The campaign marketing tool/wiki interface with my players. The content comes from CL. OP makes it uber easy to display.

Same here. I like Obsidians linking system but Campaign Logger is helpful for fleshing out ideas and I like to design single entities first, sometimes with Zorgons assistance.
