Hey @Alensande! I am thinking the Wizard of Adventure Story Path will help with that in the Adventure Building Master Game Plan and then the follow-up section on plotting your adventure. That's coming out very soon - I'm creating it as we speak.

Dear all,

I may have gone a little over board when I tried to find all the German speakers in this forum. Actually, that was not so easy, so I just made a list and counted several more aspects like number of new members per country, per language and per date. I found it interesting.
So, I want to share my results here and hope you find them useful.

Have fun!

Current number of members: 145
Number of countries: 20
Number of languages spoken: 11

Happy Belated, @JohnnFour!

Hello all! It's nice to see that, agewise, I'm not the oldest. If I was the youngest, I'd worry. I started with the red box D&D somewhere early 80's. Played up until the end of college. I had the honour of gaming with Johnn for a few years in Vancouver - lots of good times. I stepped away from gaming for a while and now I'm dipping my toes back in again.

Hey, everyone! My name's Ryan. I'm very new to the tabletop world. So far, all I've done is DM the Lost Mine of Fandango. One of the players from that game is going to DM the Hoard of the Dragon Queen for us next (oh, the sweet, sweet revenge I shall have), so in the meantime I'm trying my hand at homebrewing a game to run after we finish that module.

My favorite specific die is my d20 that, instead of the 1, just has the word "F--k".
My favorite type of die is the d4. I keep several of them in the car so if I ever get into a high speed chase I can just throw them out behind me to pop the tires of my pursuers. Seriously, stepping on a Lego has NOTHING on a d4.

Welcome @RyFree!

I have those dice too. They are great when gaming with strangers. :)

Hail and well met!

I live in Ontario, Canada, and I started GMing in 2013 (I think?). I took a long pause as I learned how to become a father but I'm just getting back into the hobby now. I've only ever run D&D 4e and 5e games (and 1 session of Savage Worlds) but would love to run some other systems soon. I'm eyeing Apocalypse World and Vaesen.

Really glad to be here and check out the Campaign Logger app and community.

Welcome aboard, @wazels! Learning to become a father is a bunch of levels, I know. It comes with increased tranquility, sleep deprivation resistance and many additional skill sets. Perfect for becoming a better GM!

We have completed another Astrological 200 Year Era. For the past 200 years the Great Conjunction met under the sign of Earth which represents down to earth materialism and slow but steady change, the last 20 years period of this cycle was dominated by the theme of survivalism. On winter solstice a new era has begun, the era under the sign of Air. Immaterial things like relationships will matter more, change will become fast, and stable matters will dissolve into thin air. Be prepared!
Further, the last year of survivalism was peaked by the Chinese year of the rat, a sly and inventive fellow. The new era begins with the year of the cow, the slowest and dumbest of the 12 Zodiac Animals, but which's perseverance is second to none.

Happy New Year of the Cow!!
