I understand that Players contributing logs directly is not yet supported.

Is there another way that people from my group can easily contribute session events and character notes?

I am thinking about using the API access to copy posts from our discord channel over to log entries and vice-versa. How hard can it be?

With the latest update, players should be able to make one log each in your campaign. They can then share individual entries by hitting the share button.

This works pretty well, although I do hope for global permissions soon so they don't have to share each entry, and hopefully the possibility of creating a log with read/write for multiple people.
 
Note that the player logs are still on our preview server as far as I know and are in alpha / proof of concept state.

I don't think CL's API supports write, but @JochenL can advise better when he returns from vacation.

Need to correct you there, Johnn, he deployed it to production a little while ago. I had my players make their own logs in my campaign last session. Still lots of more stuff I want (yup, I am the needy type), but the basics is there now.
