Last month we had an open session to discuss what genre of campaign we wanted to try next. We quickly circled around to a space opera setting based on a lot of different movies and shows, and then commenced with generating characters.
We ended up with 4 PCs: 1) a virus who believes he is a vampire; 2) an experimental AI powder who shapeshifts into crystalline animals; 3) a teenage psychic healer; 4) a 1000 year old butler robot. They're all a merc team, now.
After the session I created a theme song for the campaign to add a little more excitement and spark enthusiasm. I thought you might enjoy it: Shackled Stars theme song.
