If you are seeing the double quotes aren't working, this fix might help.

For example, you type in @"Johnn the NPC" but Campaign Logger turns it into @"Johnn".

The culprit could be smart quotes.

There are device settings to switch that off, but those can be difficult to find. In addition, changing this setting will affect all apps on your phones.

For that reason, we introduced a setting that will prevent fancy quoting:

Please try the three settings in Campaign Logger and let us know if the problem persists.

Hey Johnn,
I’m not sure if this is the culprit for my problem on mobile devices but it seems like it is. When I type @“John Smith” I get a tag called “John . This is only the case on mobile and it is quite frustrating as I like to log entries on my iPad. The Fancy Quote Replacement setting doesn’t seem to be changing this. Any ideas?

I love Campaign Logger so far, this is my only gripe!

Best,

Andd… I solved the problem. The above setting DID fix the problem, my issue was that I was opening up the “general settings” by clicking the cog at the top of my screen, but I needed to go into the specific settings for my campaign.

I’m very happy :)

Aha! That is an excellent usability callout. Thank you @Dizzy DM!

Piling on here... I've been bit by the general/campaign setting thing as well. Easy to understand once I remember it works that way. There must be some UX-fu about how these things are done. :)
