I suggest keeping them but striking them through. That way you can read them but also know they are no longer relevant (and may contain dead links, too).

I like the idea of using typography to denote expired content.

I think strikethrough would create too much friction for reading.

Maybe a grey font colour? With a starting warning standard boilerplate warning of "This is expired content. We're posting it as we think it still has some value for reference purposes." Or something like that.
