Let's move this discussion into the appropriate Looking for Players and Games forum.
Hi all. Long-time RPG player, living in the Washington DC area, Alexandria, VA, to be precise. Started playing D&D when I was 12 or so, hung up RPGs in my 20s for a decade or so, returned to my senses, and have been throwing down some D&D, some DCC RPG, and am now about to embark on some Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay goodness. Not sure where this new WFRP "campaign" is going, but there is a whole wide world and not a ton of published material, so it's time to roll up my sleeves!
Welcome back to the game!Hi all. Long-time RPG player, living in the Washington DC area, Alexandria, VA, to be precise. Welcome Yev! If you like to roll a bunch of d6 you might like Shadowrun. The system is solely based on many d6 and target numbers, so you try to roll as many successes as you can. The setting is a dystopian version of our own world currently set to 2080, but warped with magic, genetic mutations (elf, dwarf, etc.) and cyberware. A game of man meets magic and machine that is strongly influenced by William Gibson's Neuromancer trilogy.Hi compared to most people in the thread, I'm new here since I started gming in 2018 and haven't played much
I like Dungeon World, CoC and Fiasco(this doesn't really need a GM though) I'd really like to try 13th but I don't have anyone to play withㅜㅜ
Right now, I'm translating system-agnostic GMtools into Korean(of course with permission) and introducing them to people
My fav die is d6...When you roll a dozen of them at the same time it feels great and everyone has one of those even if they are not into games
second fav is d100 cause I like rolling ramdom tables : P
Then please do look up our Looking for Players and Games section in the forum (also for one-shots of games you always wanted to try). We try different games with our GMs here online. Maybe we can find an arrangement seeing that you are not far away?I've got a wide interest in all kinds of games but not enough time, friends or friends with time to try them all out.
Welcome aboard, Tommy! Happy to hear you can play nonetheless. I'd be interested to hear about your group and style of play (and see a picture of the “ugliest set your partner could find”).
